Multi Language Programming

Together with Mark Wilcox and other contributors Bernd Wiegmann has written a for paper series for Symbian Developer Network on Creating multi language projects for Symbian OS.

Architecture

The first paper of this series decribes the architecture of multi language applications for Symbian OS and illustrates the advantages of certain combinations.

RESTful Widgets

Widgets are applications which run locally on phones and use Web technology like HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The last document describes how to combine Widgets with eleganty with RESTful Web Services. Using a simple local caching mechanism, a certain independance of the internet connection can be archieved.
